The Computer Education Research Journal (CERJ)complies with open access regulations under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY). The requirements of funding organizations for publication are completely compliant with CERJ. The authors are free to deposit their work in any repository of their choosing while still maintaining ownership of their creation. The work may be freely modified and distributed as long as proper attribution is given and any changes made are specified. CERJ provides instant open access to all papers in accordance with the idea that making research freely available to the public fosters a more extensive exchange of knowledge and provides an important way to raise the profile and impact of research in the areas of science, technology and mathematics education. This implies:

  • 1. Every article published in the CERJ is freely and openly accessible in its entirety.
  • 2. The published content may be reused by anyone so long as appropriate credit is given to the original publication.
  • 3. The potential for the authors to advance society will raise the value and reputation of their study.
  • 4. An open access publication is guided by an Article Processing Charge (APC) of $20 or its equivalent N25,000.00, which may be paid by the author(s), their institution, or funding organizations.
